Providing care for others is a vocation answered by many in all facets of life. Paul recently had the opportunity to work with a number of these “unsung heroes” in the areas of health and personal care.

Consultants in Healthcare was founded in 1997 by Pam Hooper and her partner, Mary Hill, as a consulting company designed to provide development and management services for inpatient and outpatient surgical services. With a staff of six, Consultants in Healthcare manages four outpatient surgery centers comprised of 350 employees and 120 physician partners in Little Rock and the surrounding area.

In addition to these primary services, WRAAA offers assistance with in-home care, housing, employment, Medicare education, and foster grandparenting in an effort to better serve a growing and diverse population.

In keeping with assuring the health and well-being of others, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences constantly strives to offer the best in medical care to its patients. Through a patient- and family-centered approach, UAMS offers care that is grounded in mutually beneficial partnerships among providers, patients, and families. Paul recently had the pleasure of presenting “Inspired Teamwork & Leadership” to administration, staff, and volunteers working in collaboration to advance their health care model.

In a world where consumers are concerned about being treated fairly, the Better Business Bureau of Arkansas is working hard to honor local businesses that promote a trusting, ethical relationship with their customers.
