The National Association for Health Care Recruitment (NAHCR) recently held their 2010 Image Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul was delighted to be a keynote speaker during the annual event which is geared toward providing information on current issues, ways to enhance professional performance and methods to assist health care recruiters in their work responsibilities.

Established in 1975, NAHCR serves more than 50 chapters nationwide comprised of members serving as nurse, allied health, physician recruiters and human resource professionals, working in all facets of health care, including for the military. Their purpose is to promote and exchange sound and ethical principles of health care recruitment, advance the interest of and promote cooperation among its members, and acquire and disseminate information and education regarding industry conditions.

With a vision of being the preeminent organization for health care recruitment, NAHCR employs values of advocacy, credibility, integrity, stewardship and responsiveness, while functioning as the primary organization to promote the expertise and influence of health care recruiters.

As Paul presented, “Energize the Enthusiasm…That Exists Within,” to the eager participants in the audience, he was encouraged by the dedication and commitment to excellence he observed among NAHCR’s members. “The enthusiasm of the health care recruiters I had the privilege to work with during the 2010 Image Conference was evident from the moment I first arrived at the event,” stated Paul. “Their passion for acquiring tools and knowledge to enhance their recruitment programs is phenomenal!”

Paul is looking forward to seeing his many new friends from NAHCR again soon!

NAHCR President Dennis Yee & Paul

Recognizing the various challenges presented by property management, Paul was recently wowed by the result driven approach embraced by the experienced leaders of Intrepid Management, Inc. Presenting “Legendary Leadership in Action” during the annual gathering of team members, Paul saw directly the hands-on, personal, team approach this cohesive unit applies to their property management within the subsidized housing industry.

Founded by Chief Executive Officer Carl Schultz in 2005, Intrepid Management possesses more than 50 years of combined management knowledge in the subsidized housing industry. Along with its sister company, United Properties Management, Inc., Intrepid provides full-service management to existing communities as well as new project development. Realizing the individual requirements of the elderly, low income and special needs clients they serve, their management program is tailored to provide outstanding value and service to their over 5,000 residents.

“From senior management to front line employees, it is evident this organization is immersed in helping to change the mindset of generational poverty. I have the greatest respect for the services they provide to those who otherwise might not have a roof over their heads. It was a true pleasure to be able to present views based on legendary leadership and receive valuable feedback in return.”
