Dear Friends,

Throughout 2011, I have had the privilege of speaking in front of a diverse group of individuals: from the healthcare industry, to corporate America, to school districts and university systems, to professional sports organizations. The remarkable people I have met throughout the year have all enriched my life, as hopefully I have theirs.

With that in mind, I would like to take a moment to thank the many supporters and friends who have allowed me and my team at Vital Communications, Inc. to fulfill our mission of spreading an enthusiastic and encouraging message. Your continued support and trust in my services is greatly appreciated!

It was a distinct pleasure to work with thousands of students and educators on behalf of institutions of learning throughout our country. Whether interacting with student athletes or seasoned administrators, my many encounters in the field of education provided me with multiple learning experiences while sharing my messages of leadership, inner heroism and energy. Though I would like to recognize each organization individually, space limitations prevent me from doing so.

Keeping the community’s well-being at the forefront of their missions, both the Arkansas Mental Health in Education Association and the White River Health System provided me the opportunity to work alongside their members and see premium care in action. These stellar groups selflessly work to achieve the highest quality of life for their target populations.

On that note, the unsung heroes at the Little Rock Wastewater and the Arkansas Water and Wastewater Managers’ Association reminded me once again of the many individuals whose work goes largely unnoticed, yet is crucial to our standard of clean living! Having the honor of working with these men and women was truly humbling.

The fields of hospitality and tourism continues to excel through organizations I had the pleasure to partner with such as the Receptive Services Association of

America, the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and the National Tour Association. Not to be overlooked is the important work done in the field of broadcasting. The Television Broadcasters of Arkansas and the Arkansas Broadcasters Association strive to keep the public informed with breaking news and items of significance, along with providing entertainment for all to enjoy. Working with these exceptional organizations was a delight.

On the business front, ARVEST Bank, the Arkansas Association of College & University Business Officers, the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services and the National Association of State Procurement Officials/Western States Contracting Alliance each hosted events that not only educated but empowered their teams to lead the way to a stronger 2012. It was an honor to present to the individuals who comprise these organizations.

Rounding out the year was our continued partnership with Matt Birk’s H.I.K.E. Foundation as well as the committed Community Relations departments of several NFL teams. Taking the field once again with the student athletes of the Arizona Cardinals Football Skills and Education Camp as well as those participating in the St. Louis Rams High School Player Development Camp was both exciting and inspiring. Sharing an empowering message of critical life skills with these young men was a true privilege. Witnessing the dedication of H.I.K.E., the Rams and the Cardinals to make a positive difference in their communities remains awe-inspiring.

Yes, Vital Communications, Inc. has been blessed with another tremendous year in 2011 thanks to the support and dedication of our clients and friends. Without your trust, we would not have the chance to share the knowledge and ideas that we learn from the many who make up this world full of opportunity. I wish you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous 2012!

Warmest regards – Paul

Did You Know?

Most Jewish communities around the world celebrate the holiday of Hanukkah with communal gatherings, parties, songs and games. These celebrations usually include eating traditional Hanukkah foods such as latkes. Games of chance are played, while everyone tries their hand at spinning a dreidel (top) and gelt (money) is often distributed to children.

Jewish communities around the world view Hanukkah as a celebration of the spiritual survival of Judaism and the victory of Judaic values over a complete–and in many cases enforced–assimilation. Celebrating Hanukkah enhances self-awareness of Jewish adults and emphasizes their responsibility for the Jewish education of their children.

Happy Hanukkah!
